		<description>Not open source but Komodo Edit is free, cross platform and one of the best source code editors I&#039;ve ever used.  I use it on my Linux systems and my Mac and it just works so VERY well.  Not being opensource is a down side but with so many pluses in it&#039;s favor, it deserves a look.  I use it every day...</description>

		<description>Another great feature about geany is that you can use it as a great Latex editor. And when I say editor, I mean more LIKE an IDE resembling Kile. You can compile and view your latex file from withing Geany.</description>
